My story called 'Infection' - paragraph 2

...Staring right into Michaela’s eyes, lifeless, careless, dead...then all of a sudden the THING charged right at the glass backdoor Nicole screaming as soon as it’s dead, dirty, half-eaten body smashes into the glass leaving blood on the glass, her mum & dad finally rush downstairs confused, and a bit grumpy on how they woke them up Nicole's dad yells for her, “Nicole! Where are you? Why are you awake so early?!” Nicole replies really softly “Over here with Michaela….and there's something outside dad..” her mum and dad approach them, Michaela reminds them to stay quiet and be careful, they were confused but they did anyways Michaela and Nicole hid in the corner of the dining room scared, and can’t move. Nicole’s parents ask what's wrong, Nicole points to the glass backdoor…

Horrified, her parents grab her and Michaela takes them to Nicole’s bedroom, her dad said: “If anything happens...jump out of the window and get to a police station, tell them what you saw ok, make sure they come!” Dad closed the door and locked it. Nicole was panicking. She kept on saying “What if my parents get eaten as well..?!” Michaela kept on telling her that nothing was going to happen, but Michaela thought to herself “I can't be so sure..”. They sat in Nicole's room while listening to all the commotion that was going on downstairs with that thing and Nicole’s parents, eventually, they heard...

If you didn't read the last paragraph, it's on my blog as well.

My story called "Infection" - 1st paragraph

It was 4:45 am in the morning when Nicole heard a crash downstairs,
it wouldn’t have been her friend, Michaela, because she was still sleeping.

They had a very exciting sleepover, filled with energy last night...
Nicole woke up in shock wondering what was making such a loud noise so
early in the morning.

Nicole went downstairs, she was all tense and afraid because of what was
happening in this situation, her first instinct should have been to wake her parents but...
instead, she woke up her bestfriend Michaela and...
told her what she was hearing downstairs.

Michaela thought it’s probably just a bird, Nicole didn't think so.

Nicole ended up dragging Michaela downstairs when they were at the bottom of the stairs
they listened really carefully to see where the noise was coming from...
it was coming from the back glass door.

They slowly approach the door regretting the decision but do it anyway.

When they finally got to the dining room (where the back door is) they were horrified
by what they have just seen...it was a bloody handprint on the back door glass window,
Nicole and Michaela tried to scream but nothing came out.

As they get closer to the glass the more horrified they get they were witnessing a living,
breathing a real-life person being eaten alive by something that wasn't normal.

Nicole backed away from the window horrified saying “I’m gonna be sick.”
Michaela comforted her, but she as well was scared.

Eventually, the THING that was eating the person stopped...and looked up…

My Passion Project - Acting

I have a few favorite actors, Cole Sprouse (he’s also a photographer) Johnny Depp, Lili Rienhart, KJ apa, Camilla Mendes, Cameron Monaghan, Noel Fisher, Steve Howey, Isidora Goreshter, Shanola Hampton, Ian Somerhalder, Nina Dobrev, Joseph Morgan etc. these people in my opinion are really good at acting, I’ve always wanted to try acting because you never know if you good at something if you don’t try.

I have always wanted to be in a TV show, because it’ll be cool! Sure I wouldn’t have time for anything else in my life but acting is just such a cool talent to have. And I would like to earn that talent. Here are some different ways to practise acting, learn from books that have the genre of acting, you can record yourself doing different scenes that are your favorites for those you know really well, read scripts that are already written and try to repeat a line of speech having emotion in it. I’m going to try and write my own scripts and put different emotions into each line of speech. I can do research. But acting is also something that can be learned and mastered through lots of practice. Like any skill, it can be taught. With passion and perseverance, you can be a great actor…even if it doesn't come naturally. Here are some pictures of some ‘Acting Setups’. I look at acting like it’s an art, which it is, it’s a performing art. You can have the literary and the visual aspects but those are all window dressing without the performance of an actor. You don't have to have extreme talent to become an actor, you just got to believe in yourself.

Te Tiriti o Waitangi

This is the info about Ti Tiriti o Waitangi
The Maori population in the 1830s was around 70 - 80 thousand, the two main reasons behind the drop in the population is because of diseases and war.

The main settlement was called Kororaeka/Russell. The rangatira and missionaries were unhappy with what was happening because of fighting and that it was a party town.
Te Tiriti O Waitangi was neglected because of water, rats, etc. The United Tribe was set up to help revolve the situation.

The British saw France as a threat because of Colonisation. Edward Wakefield set up the New Zealand Company to help poor people. The British sent Hobson to New Zealand to let the Maori know what the were planning on doing.

500 Rangatira signed Te Tiriti o Waitangi. The problem with the way the treaty was written is because it wasn't the same. Chiefly authority or Selfgoverment is what Tino Rangatiratanga means. Control is what Sovereignty means, and Governorship is what Kawanatanga means.

When the Maori looked at the treaty they believed that they would own the land, but it was majorly different to what the British were thinking.
Hone Heke showed his frustration by setting fire to the town and cutting down the British flag. The different methods the Maori used to beat the Britsh in the Northern War was Building trenches, bricks, and placing wood on the bricks to make the British soldiers slower to get to their trenches.

Hornby Athletics Day

Yesterday was Hornby High's Athletics day I participated in, Social
CARR Values, were clearly demonstrated by the other students in the school by, showing, Commitment... committing to their tasks, they showed Achievement, by proudly achieving their tasks, they were all also showing Respect to the people running the tasks that the other students had to do.
I demonstrated the CARR Values by also committing to my tasks, achieving my tasks and also showing people who were running my tasks respect. I was particularly proud of me participating in the relays, I was scared to do them at first, but managed to do it anyways.
Next year I will participate in Competitive, because I was trying Social this year to see if its OK, and it is but I have decided to do competitive next year.
